Airship Captain - Kolsch

This label showcases Nyco Rudolph's art and his rendition of bears and Canadiana imagery, only with a villainous twist. Front and centre is an airship pirate captain featuring a bear pilot in vintage aviation gear and his cadre of scurvy sky pirates. This adds a touch of nostalgia and adventure to the brewery's product line. The label design captures the spirit of retro aviation and the influential style of steampunk aesthetics.

You can see there were several concept sketches before the final artwork was made. We didn't want the character to look like a second world war villain, but we also didn't want him to look like he was on a Rocky mountain vacation either. In the end I think we got the right feel in the Airship Pirate Captain!
