Meet the League of Extraordinary Beer Enthusiasts
Meet the crew, sure why not. Dastardly Villain has been in operation since summer of 2021. Having a brewery was a goal of Scott's going back over 30 years. Grape & Grain, Wine and Beer Supplies, in operation from January 3, 1995 to January 3, 2025 was the fore-runner to Dastardly Villain. We realized a few years ago the goal of having a brewery, albeit a small one, was not an unreachable goal. So we took a number of our homebrew kit recipes, tuned them up, and found a brewery that could pack them up for us. Guess what? We were in business as a brewing Company! Dastardly Villain is quite a rebrand and a reimagining from Grape & Grain, but our unwavering passion for quality beer has never wavered. We'll be expanding soon, with a real for real brewery, and a taproom. In the meantime, here are the quality people keeping those quality beers in front of you.

Scott is the Evil Genius and Creative Mastermind behind Dastardly Villain. Scott has played too much Dungeons & Dragons to the point he can no longer tell fantasy from reality. As long as life continues with a good quantity of beer and even more AC-DC, All is good. Er...shall we say...evil...

Jacob is the schemer, plotter, and alchemist behind the quality beers produced by Dastardly Villain's evil laboratories. Always elbows deep in research, he is a get 'er done kinda guy, loves his wife and family, and never stops concocting fermented creations. Brew-hoo-haa-haa!

Alex is the friendly face you see outside of Dastardly Villain at our numerous tastings, and can find him cold calling on your friendly neighbourhood taverns. Secretly his alter ego is a full blown technogeek with a love of spreadsheets and diagnostics. Make Alex happy - buy our stuff!
